The owners promptly fixed our shower issue and were very accommodating, but the worn beds ruined my sleep, and the room had a lingering smoke odor.

The friendly staff made me feel welcome right from the start, and the affordable rates were a huge plus. However, the room had its quirks, like a noisy air conditioner and thin towels. Overall, it served its purpose for a short stay, especially with clean basics and great water pressure.

We enjoyed our stay at this inn, with plenty of space for our teenage kids in the two queen beds room. Visiting the nearby Grand Canyon was a highlight for the family. The kids appreciated the convenience of having snacks available in the lobby.
My wife says that the noise from passing trains was disruptive at night. A soundproof option would be a game-changer for families.

Comfortable Stay with a Local Flavor
We enjoyed our three-night stay in the Deluxe Queen Room. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the local dining options nearby were delightful. Be prepared for train noise, but the earplugs provided helped us rest peacefully. Bring along your favorite snacks for late-night cravings!

We had a cozy stay with a stocked fridge and a handy microwave in our room. The coffee maker was a lifesaver in the morning! The pool and spa were perfect for winding down after a long day. The bathroom could use some updating, but it didn’t ruin our experience at all. 😊

The location was conveniently close to grocery stores and fuel stations, making it easy to stock up during my stay. The room was clean and quiet, providing a comfortable atmosphere for my visit. However, I was surprised by the additional $75 deposit on top of the room rate, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, a satisfactory experience, especially for a solo traveler like me.

missingWrote a review on 29 Jansmelly room
Nothing stands out as good during the stay, which is unfortunate given the overall experience.
The room smelled like smoke despite being labeled as non-smoking, which is a big red flag. The shower was broken, only providing hot water, and the cold water handle just spun endlessly. Water pressure was weak, and the toilet had the awkward habit of refilling every 15 minutes. The Wi-Fi was practically useless, barely strong enough for basic browsing but failing utterly for anything more intensive. The heater was non-functional, leaving the room uncomfortably cold. Blackout curtains were nonexistent, letting in the morning light too early for comfort. The bed felt like an old, hard slab with a metal frame that jabbed through the thin fabric.
